Today I am sharing with you six very easy yet effective tips to be successful in Intermittent Fasting. A few years back when we talked about Fasting,We relate it to some religious activity or as a part of a healing process.However, today the concept of fasting has changed and people realizing its immense benefits are adopting Intermittent Fasting in their daily routine.Intermittent Fasting or IF as it is commonly know is similar to regular fasting but in IF the duration of the fast plays a vital role to get the maximum benefits of fasting.The minimum duration of the fast should be 16 hours which is gradually increase to 18 hours or 20 hours to bring about a healthy transformation of the body and reverse lifestyle health issues.Some people do OMAD(one meal a day) and fast for 23 hours.Now when we fast beyond this say for 24 hours or 48 hours which is usually done once or twice a month,we called it Prolong Fasting.
Now when you start to do Intermittent Fasting,we experience headache,weakness or get hungry and find it difficult to go with food for so long.So the tips I am sharing with you will help to complete you fast successfully without making you feel that you are really fasting and you can easily make IF a daily activity. Let's see the tips-
1.If you are a beginner start with a 12 hour fast and if you are comfortable gradually increase it to16 hours and beyond. 

2.The meal you take before IF should be high in healthy fats and proteins and carbohydrate should be avoided.

3.While fasting keep your body hydrated by drinking adequate amount of water.You can also have green tea,black tea and black coffee.

4.Support your body with an electrolyte.A pinch of common salt or the Himalayan pink salt  in your drinking water also works as a good electrolyte. 

5.Fasting is a good time to to take vitamin supplements. You can take the vitamins and minerals essential for the body.

6.Lastly,most important is consistency in doing IF.Once you have start IF, no matter how busy or how stress you are,make it a point to do it everyday until it becomes your habit.It cost you absolutely nothing but pay you a package of health benefits.

Definitely,IF has been proven to be a very powerful technique to add years to your life by safe guarding you from all lifestyle diseases. Its is highly recommended for people above 35 years of age.People with normal health can straight way start IF.However,people with health issues must consult their doctors to start IF. Finally ,Intermittent Fasting is not recommended for people below 25 years of age as this group includes young people and childen who are still in their growing stage and they need a balanced diet and adequate amount of food.
